NEW OFFICE BUILDING IN TOWER 42

  • LONDON,

  • 2006

Restricted ideas competition consisting in the reorganisation of all surrounding areas around the renowned Tower 42 in London.  Using medieval traces still visible in the interior courtyards of the blocks, the proposal has the ambition to reorganize and extent all the pedestrian circulations offering a richer and more diverse public space.  With this, it is possible to promote a new image of the entrance to the tower.  A configuration of new office buildings of different sizes, organized around the vertical core of the tower will add more than 16.500m2 office floor area, allowing for the operation to be economically feasible.
