Slogan: "Chuck Norris has counted to the infinite; not only once but twice"

The main object of the competition is based on the extension and refurbishment of the current Architects Headquarters building in Cordoba. Located on the corner of a closed block facing the Gran Capitan Avenue, the building is one of the most representative built examples of Art Nouveau in the province.

The solution places the extension at a higher level in relation to the existing building, facilitating the appearance of a new large elevation, meant to become the new public face of the institution. The structure of the building and the enclosure containing the functional program are intentionally mismatched in order to achieve an overlap, in plan projection, with the existing building below. By doing so, a double façade building is guaranteed allowing for cross ventilation and natural lighting also to the the lower floors.
